Baracuta G9 Harrington jacket -
it started in the 1930's in the UK as a short raincoat made out of
waterproof cotton and Fraser tartan lining.
Actually it was designed for playing golf in lousy English weather:
its deep and angled pockets are designed for holding golf balls.
Since Elvis Presley wore the jacket in the movie 'King Creole' in 1958,
Hollywood has reintrouduced the jacket from generation to generation.
James Dean wore a red one in 'Rebel without cause' and in the 1960's
Steve McQueen made the jacket legendary in 'the Thomas Crown affair'.
But it was also worn by e.g. Frank Sinatra, Ryan O'Neill,
The Clash, Clint Eastwood and many others.
It is truly an original...
