Baracuta

Baracuta G9 Harrington jacket -
it started in the 1930's in the UK as a short raincoat made out of
waterproof cotton and Fraser tartan lining.
Actually it was designed for playing golf in lousy English weather:
its deep and angled pockets are designed for holding golf balls.
Since Elvis Presley wore the jacket in the movie 'King Creole' in 1958,
Hollywood has reintrouduced the jacket from generation to generation.
James Dean wore a red one in 'Rebel without cause' and in the 1960's
Steve McQueen made the jacket legendary in 'the Thomas Crown affair'.
But it was also worn by e.g. Frank Sinatra, Ryan O'Neill,
The Clash, Clint Eastwood and many others.
It is truly an original...

STANLEY since 1913

Stanley Thermalware -
I really really love outdoor sports and hiking.
And if it's cold, it' s so nice to have a warming tea with me...
So: my Stanley Vacuum bottle is never missing!
In 1913 William Stanley Jr. invented the all-steel vacuum bottle.
A revolution: till then only glass had been used to insulate.
Then in 1953 the iconic hammertone green was introduced
for the first time on a Stanley bottle.
In 2012 Outside Magazine names the
Stanley Vacuum Bottle as one of
"The Most Influential Gear of All Time".
2013: Stanley turns 100!
So don't miss the 100th anniversary bottle...

Fever-Tree

                                                                     Fever-Tree -
the company's name derives from the tree which
provides chinin, the bittern used in
tonic water, in its bark.
The products of 'Fever-Tree' stand for all natural
and high quality products.
For this reason company founders Charles and Tim solely use
ingredients from small special suppliers:
e.g. the purest chinin you can get worldwide from a plantation in the Congo
or selected lemons from the hillsides from Mount Etna.
I just love this tonic water:
it makes a great Gin to perfect Gin Tonic....

Mr.Men and little Miss

Mr.Men and little Miss -
1971 a little boy asked his dad:
"What does a tickle look like?"
This inspired Roger Hargraves to create a little
orange man with a big grin, a silly blue hat and
extraordinary long arms:
Mr. Tickle, the first of Mr. Men, was born!
Since then the small, white square books were
an instant success.
I really love these books so much:
they're so much fun to read and show
in such a nice and lovely way, that we shouldn't
take life too serious, but have fun and have
a good sense of humor afterall...
