25hours - 

young, designorientated and a lot of passion - 

that's what this hotel concept stands for!

Last week we stayed in the 25hours in Zurich and 

we definitely enjoyed it a lot!

The great design, developed by the team of 

Alfredo Häberli Design Development,

gives you a hint of artful and graphic intervention.

And staff was absolutely amazing: 

very courteous, well informed and extremely friendly!

And now, that legendary cook Haya Molcho is responsable 

for the food since the beginning of 2013,

a trip to this great hotel is even more worth it - 

can't wait to be there again in March!!

Oscars

Oscar 2013 - 

'We took part on a hero's journey 

and the hero was Quentin',

that's what Waltz said, when he accepted his second Oscar as 

Best Supporting Actor for his role as a crafty delightfully 

verbose bounty hunter in 

'Django Unchained'. His first Oscar he 

won for his role in 

Tarantino's 'Inglourious Basterds' in 2010.

And also Tarantino laughed as he accepted his 

second Oscar for Best Screenplay, 

18 years after he won his first Oscar for

'Pulp Fiction'...

What a success for this movie!!

This is definitely an outstanding store.

Located in rue Bourg Tibourg 

in the Marais,

you can find the most 

comfortable shoes you can 

think of. Extremly good service and 

your feet will be 

measured exactly so you will know, 

which shoe will fit you the best.

Jim Croce

Jim Croce (1943-1973) -

when I grew up in San Jose, California, 

the first 6 years of my life,

my mum always used to hear Jim Croce.

Thus, in some way, whenever I hear his 

songs now, I think of my wonderful 

childhood I had there.

So for me, it was more than a 

pleasant surprise,

that Quentin Tarantino chose Croce's

song 'I got a name' for his movie 'Django'.

Tarantino: Django unchained

Django unchained - 

ok..there truly is, very Tarantino like, 

a lot of blood and brutality...

However it is, once again, an absolut masterpiece:

Leonardo diCaprio, finally we have the pleasure 

to see him as a mean and ruthless guy, 

Samuel L. Jackson as conniving Stephen, 

Jamie Foxx, unexpected tight-lipped and

outstanding Christoph Waltz make this

movie even more worth watching it!!

Lederlinge - Emma Opitz

Lederlinge-

when Marc Türkheim was a little boy, 

Emma Opitz, 

his beloved grandmother showed him 

how to wind leatherstraps

in a very artisan and special way.

Till today Marc loves working with real 

good leather in this manner. 

So he started 

his own label called

'Lederlinge - Emma Opitz'.

These are so cool keychains, wristbands 

and bandanaholders - 

all handmade by Marc personally in Berlin!
